Wait, wait. Talked what out exactly? Our homegirl had to use the bathroom; he insisted on keeping it locked, so she went to a place where she could take care of her needs. There really nothing to discuss or rehash here…

Oh, he definitely understands basic human needs. He's literally just trying to see how far he can push her.

31-year-old boyfriend refuses to let girlfriend use bathroom after 10 PM, claiming it is one of his "boundaries," she refuses to stay at his place anymore and considers break up: "That's not normal, right?"
Everyone has their own set of unique house rules. If you inherited some of these rules from your parents, you might not have realized how oddly specific some of them were until you started going over to other peoples' houses. For example, I have a habit of putting fruits and vegetables in the door of the fridge — where most people tend to put beverages and condiments. My fiancé found this peculiar, but I had never really questioned it. When I asked my mom why we do that, she said it's to keep the produce visible so that we make sure to use it before it spoils. Pretty clever!
Today, we examine a story surrounding a very strange house rule: our protagonist's boyfriend does not allow guests in his bathroom past 10 PM. He claims it is not only a rule, but personal boundary that he cannot tolerate anyone crossing. Unable to ignore her own bodily functions, our protagonist packs up her bags and leaves, but will she consider leaving this red flag man?
